Summer School

So,
I am teaching Government in summer school, and I would have to say that is it is going okay. I miss a lot of my students from my student teaching. I wish everyday wasn't a power struggle, but what can you do. They know that I am a new teacher and they are just trying to gain control and get me off of my game. Its title, and I am fighting through it, and I know the whole class and I included will come out as winners.

Stupid Friday song is stuck in my head.

So I totally just wrote this huge rant about Miley Cyrus and pressed two buttons at the same time accidentally and erased it. I do not even know everything that I wrote about anymore. I just know that I talked about her remake of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvanna and how mad some of my friends were. I was not really that broken up about it because that is not even my favorite song by them. I do however think that Miley Cyrus is talentless and should just go away. It creeped me out that my little sister had little outfits and a wig like her. Also my brother was dancing and singing to one of her songs, and that is really creepy. I will not disclose his age because it is weird at any age. I think that Miley's older brother is way more talented than her, but I think he will probably be stuck in the one hit wonder category. Oh well, I think that is pretty much what I talked about the first time. Oh, I also mentioned that Miley Cyrus has huge teeth and she is creepy looking. Yepp, I think that was it. I know, this was the best post ever!

Ma noce est dans trente neuf jours ! ! ! et je gradue samedi. Le temps va si rapidement ! ! ! Je sais que vous tous me demandent probablement pourquoi ceci est dans une langue différente. J'ai décidé de le changer sur un peu et ai fait quelque chose hors du commun ! Bien de toute façon, cela tous est je dois dire. La paix hors !

Moving into my last week

I really can't believe that it is almost over. It seems like yesterday that I walked into this high school to start my first day of student teaching. Now, I will be graduating next week on Saturday. My cap and gown are sitting on my printer at home. My graduation dress is sitting in my closet neatly hung up, and my graduation party is planned and invites have been sent out. I guess I never thought this day would come, I have been in school for a very long time. Everything really seemed like a dream this semester, everything went so smooth. I have really enjoyed working with Miss Rowse and all of the students here at the school. It makes me so sad that I will not see all of their faces anymore after Thursday :'(. I would just like to say thank you to everyone because you made my student teaching experience so meaningful.

The Countdown

So my advisor came on Monday and she reminded me of the time that I have left. It really made me sad because I actually don't want my student teaching to end. I have enjoyed my time at Norfolk and I have gotten to know some of the students really well. I will be happy to graduate so I can get paid to do something that I enjoy and not have to have a part time job. Its to the point now that I don't even count down wedding days because my wedding is a month after I am done here. It makes me sad that I will be done with such amazing kids.

Classes........................

So today was an interesting day. In Basic English the class said that you can't make a shape poem just using spaces, so I made a #2 shape poem. It was a poem about the writing of poetry experience in that class. If anyone wants to see it ask me!! So that was 2nd, 3rd was when we talked about chivary, knights, and the holy grail. I must be getting old because only two student in the class have seen "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." That was crazy to me. 4th was planning and I started reading over one acts and editing them. 5th was lunch where I spent a lovely time with my soon to be husband eating lunch. Two months left!! 6th period was spent looking over lesson plans and looking over one acts. Also this period was spend with Kevin and Skyler coming in and out of the room. 7th period, which is what I am in right now, is spent with the procrastinating, wacky, shoe throwing creative writing class. I know they really don't like mini lessons, but I tell you what, those kind of lessons really helped out when I go to college. History, English, Science, if you write papers for a teacher, they check your grammar and dock off on your score for it. Believe me I didn't know that either, until, I got there!!

CREATIVE WRITING STUDENTS: I was thinking my last day of student teaching I would bring in my x box and kinet, and we could play dance central and other games I have with the kinet. Let me know if you think this is a cool idear. Also let me know if you would be down for a bon fire at my house in pierce celebrating my graduation May 8th (sunday). Mitch Benson told me he wanted to :).

A little rant for the long weekend

One thing that I need to say today is: Things are not so different from what they used to be. Wars and hate have been in our hearts for a very long time. I have heard so many stories from my grandpa and he said things now aren't as bad as they were when he was fighting in a war. I think that one of the reasons that the United States think things are so horrible now is because we have had things handed to us all our lives. I sit and hear people complain about how bad their lives are because of the gas prices while they are watching the t.v and there is a little boy on there with bullet wounds to the head. This little boy went outside in Egypt to see what the loud sounds are, I find this very sad. If our only problems are gas prices and bullies in school, we should be getting on our knees and thanking our lucky stars we are not somewhere else. I am sorry I am on a rant, but have heard this complaint so much lately and it is getting to me.
I think this may have been the wrong week to give up caffine and something else at the same time. I didn't know how addicted I was to caffine and I am getting killer headaches. I know am being debbie downer at this moment, but I just needed to get that thought out.
