Is it the weather?

I am not sure if it the weather or what, but I am having these really extremely weird dreams. Most of the time I don't remember my dreams. It could also be that I have been hitting a deeper sleep lately. Who knows.
So my fiance is in community theater at NECC and I was walking up to go to the bathroom and there were little signs on the mirrors that said "You are beautiful" and "Don't judge yourself, love yourself" I realized it was eating disorder awareness week and then it all made sense. When I was younger and going to college I would sit on one of the benches outside of one of the classes and think. I would think about all the people that were walking around with problems and issues, but kept them all bundled inside. So many people are probably going around with problems and they feel too ashamed to talk about them. I think it is great that colleges are making students aware that these problems are out there. So, this week tell someone they are beautiful!!! They might need it.

HEY!

I am not really sure if you understand you need to be following everyone to get your full grade for these blogs. I know they are fun to write, but you guys should be reading everyone else's too. Just a reminder!

Today I am extremely tired. I probably stayed up way too late last night, I am pretty sure I am going to take a nap after school is over. I always call the school my job to people, but I really enjoy being here, and soon it will be my work!!!
So last night I watched parts of Space Clowns from Outer Space!!! circa '88 and it was really funny. It was that type of funny like "Oh wow, if I was 4 yrs old, I totally would been really scared of this movie!". When your older then you see it and you think "Wow this is what I was afraid of?" Except IT, I will not watch that movie, creepy gutter scene. I had a friend that was afraid of ET when we were little, but I have to admit I was not too keen on him either. My Dad once put this ET doll in between all my stuffed animals while I was sleeping, just like the scene in the movie, and I freaked out and wouldn't sleep in my room the rest of the night. My dad thought it was really funny, but my mom did not. Nightmare on Elm street was another one that got me when I was little, but now all the death scenes are so under done. The blood looks like ketchup, and the veins and organs look like strings and steaks. I wonder if that is what little kids are going to think of the movies that adults think are scary now, will be just like Clowns from Outer Space for them.

How knows, I guess we will see!!!

Dresses are not my cup of tea

First of all I need to say this... Today is my Mom's B-day, so when I was little Valentine's Day wasn't that great. This was mostly because my mom hated it because no one remembered it was her B-day, so today is a special day for me. Just not like everyone else thinks.
Now, getting on to the title of my blog. I hate dresses (and skirts). You are probably asking yourself, well why do you wear them then? One dress was a gift, so I have to wear it. Otherwise I wear them because I have nothing else to wear or to look more professional. I wear tights all the time to make it feel like I am wearing pants, but they really don't work. For some reason I feel really dumb in dresses like I don't belong in the dress club. I don't like wearing short shorts either. I like long gym shorts and big sweat pants, they are much more comfortable. Anyways, I just had that thought today, no idea why.

TEACHER WORK SAMPLE!!!

Over the last couple of days I pretty much finished my HUGE assignment for my student teaching experience. This assignment is only 7 pages long, but it is single spaced with size 10 font. I almost have it done. I am probably the only one that does because for some reason when I am bored I say to myself "Hey!!! Lets do homework!!!" Yep, I'm that girl.

Saturday

On Saturday it will be four months to my wedding. Things are starting to go so fast!!! I can't even believe it. Sydney thinks she is going to push out my sister of being the flower girl, I think they will have to duke it out. My sister is little (9 yrs old), but she is really feisty!!!! I am not sure why I started posting this, I think it was because I started to think about how fast this month is going!!!! Valentine's Day is on Monday, which means we are already in the middle of the month. The winter play is on Saturday is well and everyone should go see it, its going to be a blast!!!

Stuck in Sioux City :(, sick fiance, and missing the kids already.

So I totally got stuck in Sioux City last night because of blowing snow. It was okay Sunday morning, but by four (right after my alteration appt) my grandma called and said we couldn't leave. Tim looked up the road reports and all the roads were extreme caution. I then texted Miss Rowse and told her what was going on. I woke up this morning at five and the roads were still extreme caution. I called Miss Rowse and wsc and told them I probably wouldn't make it back.
Tim woke up this morning with a bad cough and stuffy nose; he was miserable. On top of it I wass so upset that I would not be able to teach today because of the stupid wind. I guess I like the students I teach a little bit and miss them :). I am very sure that I hate snow and wind, messes up plans way too much!
